Oh how I love the month of October!  October ushers in sweater weather, PSL (Pumpkin Spice Latte) everything, and pumpkins galore.  The change of seasons also requires a change in beauty products!  Makeup start to reflect the rich, warm hues of fall, and skincare and hair care products also require a switch up due to the cooler temperatures.

Today I want to talk about some of my favorite beauty products that I've been using during the month of October.  In this post I will list a bunch of new makeup favorites, as well as some new hair and skincare favorites.  Favorites posts are a great way to discover new and innovative products you may never have heard about before.  Please keep reading to get my October beauty favorites.  I also threw in a picture of our first carved pumpkin of the season!

Here are my favorite beauty products for the month of October, 2017:

1.  Lipland Liquid Lipstick

Lipland Cosmetics is a new and innovative cosmetics company that offers high quality makeup for affordable prices.  Even better, if you are allergic to wax like me, (see my post, Wax Free Lip Product List for a complete list of wax free lip products), their new True Matte and Cream to Matte liquid lipsticks are completely wax free!

They do not list their ingredients on their site, but if you email them, they will give you a full list of ingredients for any shade you request.  I did this myself and was delighted to discover that all their new shades are wax free.  A few of their older colors, such as NOVA, contain wax, but their new True Matte and Cream to Matte liquid lipstick shades are completely wax free.  Some of these shades include the extremely popular Tribeca, (makeup queen Amanda Ensing rocks this shade frequently), No Filter, and the Amrezy collection shades Rezy, Baked, and Retrograde.  You can buy Lipland liquid lipsticks directly from their website or from Forever21.

Tribeca is a true nude shade with no pink undertones.  Tribeca goes great with the rich colors of fall that you will see in all the makeup palettes released during the fall season.  I am wearing Tribeca below.  (My shirt is from Zazzle, please see my post, Zazzle Will Help You Brand Like A Boss, for more information on how to brand merchandise easily.)

2. WSP by Christina - 6 Pack

 WSP lashes by Christina

If you read The Makeup Equation, you know that I am all about saving money where I can.  I am not a huge fan of dropping loads of cash on fake lashes that will eventually end up in the trash after a few uses.  In my post, Best Latex Free Dark False Eyelash Glue Adhesive, I discussed what my favorite brand of dark eyelash glue was, as well as my go to drugstore brand of false lashes.

I recently discovered Christina Lashes on Amazon and I haven't stopped using them since!  Christina Lashes are made from 100% human hair and they function and have the appearance of any high quality brand.  The best part is that they cost about the same as a pack of drugstore lashes.  My current favorite is their WSP lashes.  They are sold in a pack of six!

3.  Huda Beauty Desert Dusk Eyeshadow Palette

Huda Beauty Desert Dusk Palette New Huda Beauty

Ladies, if you were to only buy one new makeup palette this fall, please make it this one!  This brand new Desert Dusk Palette by Huda beauty is just stunning and embodies everything that fall represents!  The colors are highly pigmented and there are a multitude of rich browns, oranges, reds, and purples - all colors representative of this beautiful fall season.  This is my favorite palette by Huda Beauty.

4.  KIPOZI Pro Flat Iron with 1 Inch Titanium Ion Plates Rose Pink

If you read The Makeup Equation, you know that I am a curly haired girl.  See my page, Hair, to learn more about my curly hair care routine.  I love my curly hair, but I also enjoy switching things up when the cooler weather allows.  A good flat iron is worth its wait in gold, I will agree with you on that one, but now you don't need to pay too much gold for it!  The KIPOZI Pro Flat Iron is incredibly affordable yet is just as high quality as the more expensive brands out there.  A quick check on Amazon and you can see that the KIPOZI Pro Flat Iron has tons of great reviews.

Since I am now growing out my natural hair, see my post, 8 Beauty Resolutions To Help You Achieve Goalz Status for more on why I am doing this, it is very important to me that I use a flat iron that won't damage my natural hair.  This one meets my standards in both quality, and price.

5.  Lancer Skincare The Method Polish Exfoliator

I received Lancer's The Method complimentary of Infleunster and Lancer to try out.  My favorite item in this three part anti-aging skincare set was the Polish Exfoliator.  I found this item to be great for exfoliating and removing dry skin from the face.  I have been using the Polish Exfoliator by Lancer a lot this month to combat dead and drying skin that results from the cooler temperatures.  This is definitely a product I plan on using all fall and winter.

I hope you enjoyed my October favorites.  What are some beauty products that you've been using this month?  Leave a comment down below!  I love to learn about people's favorite beauty products.  As promised, here is a picture of our first carved pumpkin of the season.  My sweet daughter chose this Pinterest inspired friendly design :)
